This is excellent. The WSAVA has created a Global Pain Council (GPC) under the chairmanship of Professor Karol Matthews. The GPC's initial activities are to:
- Collate pain assessment and management information into a 'Global Pain Treatise'
- Compile an inventory of pain management needs in regions around the globe
This will allow the GPC to move ahead with delivering targeted and customised educational (CE) programmes, including online.
The GPC has many other plans depending on what kind of industry support it receives.
