Vets Now are delighted to announce a series of practical ultrasound days in a variety of locations around the country in February & March 2012. These days will be delivered by Kimberly Palgrave BS BVM&S MRCVS, Clinical Development Manager from BCF Technology Ltd.
Advances in the technology of ultrasonography means achieving diagnostic images easily is now within reach of all veterinary practices. Even without expensive and modern machines, ultrasonography can be one of the most useful diagnostic tools you can have at your fingertips; giving your patients the very best clinical care available – all in your own practice.
Practical ultrasound techniques are easiest to learn with practical hands on training where you can actually hold the probe and scan a patient in the comfort of a teaching environment. These Ultrasound Training Days are limited to a small number of delegates so each attendee has the chance to hold the probe and perform the scans on our volunteer ‘patients’! With 6 locations around the UK, you will have no problems finding a venue near you.
Kimberly Palgrave BS BVM&S MRCVS, Clinical Development Manager for BCF Technology will combine theory, case studies and practical training during this full day of CPD to ensure each delegate goes away with an increased knowledge of ultrasonography techniques.
These days are aimed at Veterinary Surgeons; however veterinary nurses are also welcome to register.
Course cost is £300 + VAT (£360.00) However if you are a member of Vets Now staff, one of our Member Practices, or a previous delegate at any Vets Now event then you will be eligible for a 10% discount on published prices. Please contact training@vets-now.com for your discount code. (If you had a code for ECC Congress then you can use that one)
We also require 4 dogs per venue to use for scanning in the practical sessions. If you can bring your dog please indicate so during the registration process and if selected you will receive a further £50 discount off your registration (Please note your dog will be required to be clipped for appropriate abdominal scanning)
