Hi my name is Judy, and recently joined Vetsnow at Milton Keynes as a receptionist, part time. I am wandering around the forums, and obviously a little overwhelmed by all the clinical bits, not being trained in any way 'veterinary',although I have worked in a clinical environment (Milton Keynes Hospital) so it isn't out of the ordinary for me. I am interested in reading different postings on treatment of animals and how the community on here help each other with questions etc and advice. One thing I think may be an extra to add,is another forum for those that are also involved with the important task of reception work, and the communication with customers who phone and making sure things run smoothly for the team on duty, which may highlight any areas that may be improved upon ? Just a thought. If there is already an area for this, then maybe I haven't looked around enough, and I have just made a stupid comment !! Anyway, early days, love the team I work with, albeit a few hours a week, but worth it !!

Hi Judy,

vetECC.com is open to both Vets Now staff and non-Vets Now staff to join but some of the forums can only be seen by Vets Now staff where they are considered to be 'internal' in nature. One of the internal forum categories is 'Vets Now non-Clinical' and you could certainly use this forum category to post about the things you mention.

Thanks,

Shailen

Hi all, just found this site while on a "reasonable" night duty, and I am loving it already! Been reading through the clinical forums which have lots of useful info on them. I started working as an emergency vet aslmost three years ago and I love my job and am developing great enthusiasm for ECC. So much so may consider a certificate at some point but do not like the thought of exams!

New here and just used the forum for help with a confusing statement in my ECC cert course. I think this resource will be so useful! It means I can pick your vet brains when I'm having a "just off a night shift" moment !!

Hey everyone, I've just signed up to the site from my new office in the Glasgow Hospital! We've just done our second surgery in the lovely new operating theatre and we're really enjoying working in our new home.
